Location: in front of H&M store, 429 Docklands Drive, Docklands Free audience tastings of all dishes presented
12 noon - The Art of Chocolate (Yesign Chocolate Gallery) This Docklands business has a stall at the Maker’s Market and will share their unique skills in painting chocolate (think Monet, Picasso – but edible!)
12. 45 pm - African Home Cooking (Somalian Womens Development Association) Meet the home cooks who pump out amazing African food for their local microbusiness. They’ll prepare a classic dish on stage.
1.35 pm - Baklava Your Way (Peter Tzouvani) Cypriot Peter talks about this food’s history, and making this classic dessert your own in flavour.
2 pm - Monster Chef / Noodle Challenge (Comedy performer Emily Bloom) A lively twist on Master Chef - food fun for families/kids. Followed by some noodle madness with students and kids.
3.30 pm - Classic Baba Ganoush (Aheda from Aheda’s Kitchen) Palestinian Aheda cooks for vibrant community events. She cooks with heart – “it’s always the most important ingredient”. Discover her version of this classic middle Eastern dish, with accompaniments.
4.15 pm - Indian Food and Dance (Jollity - local Indian classical and Bollywood dance group) See a classic dish being made while seeing lively Bollywood moves from this award winning dance group – plus their kids! Join in to learn a few steps and be part of a finale flash mob!
