Weeks leading up to exams can be very stressful. You’ve completed all your assignments, but now it’s time to get revising for those exams. I know this can be a very busy and stressful time, which is why I have collated a few study hacks to try and make studying a bit easier for you.
STUDY HACK 1: CREATE A TIMELINE
Creating a timeline is a good idea to plan out your exam schedule. This can be done in the weeks leading up to your exams. Knowing what your going to study each day will save you that time deciding where to start or even what subject to focus on. Additionally, you can create a day-to-day to-do list as it can be very rewarding by the end of the day when you can tick of those boxes. This can definitely help with productivity as we all know how satisfying it is to cross of items on the list.

STUDY HACK 2: WRITE UP YOUR NOTES
I know typing up your notes is a lot easier and time-efficient, but also writing your notes is a great way to learn the content and will boost those grades up a little bit higher. Even if you have typed your notes, writing down key summaries for each topic is going to help you with learning that content further. And don’t forget to use colours to make those notes seem a little less boring then they actually are.
STUDY HACK 3: CREATE A GOOD PLAYLIST
Having good music to listen to when studying can boost that productivity and may help take a bit of the stress away. Find music that makes you feel relaxed and pop that one whilst you study and believe me it will help get through that revision a lot easier. But careful not to spend too long finding the perfect playlist that you end up procrastinating further. My advice with this is to have a playlist ready beforehand the night before or in the morning before you get studying.

STUDY HACK 4: STAY ACTIVE
Staying active during exam season is a great way to help stay focused at your desk and remain productive. Getting a good workout in will help stimulate your brain and will decrease those stress levels. Doing a workout will also help get your mind off of all the work that you have to get through and is also a great study break. However, this doesn’t mean that you have to spend an hour or 2 at the gym, it can also be a small jog or a walk outside in the park. Along with this, remember to eat healthy meals during the day as well and you should be good to go.
STUDY HACK 5: GIVE YOURSELF REWARDS
Finally, don’t forget to give yourself a nice reward after a full day’s worth of studying. This can be things such as meeting a friend for coffee or having a nice dinner, even if that means ordering on uber eats. Also getting your favourite dessert is a great day to end the day. But also remember to take regular breaks during the day as well!
I know how hard it can be to even get started but remember that you got this and it will all be worth it in a couple of weeks. And soon it will all be over and you can enjoy a nice relaxing holiday
